How We Work: The Design Your Leadership Process

My coaching uses Design Thinking principles—treating your career and leadership as something you actively design through iterative experiments, not something that just happens to you.

Traditional leadership programs treat development as a one-time event. They teach frameworks but ignore the human and systemic patterns that resurface once the pressure's back on. Fireworks Coaching takes a different approach—iterative, adaptive, and grounded in behavioral awareness. We help leaders build habits that hold up under stress through safe-to-fail experiments, not theoretical concepts.

The Five Stages

  • 1. Empathize (with yourself)

    Build Self-Knowledge & Decide Who to Listen To

    Learn to distinguish between your inner wisdom and the voices of self-doubt. Through values assessment, Positive Intelligence work, and energy mapping, you'll understand what truly matters to you and identify the saboteurs that have been hijacking your decision-making. You'll also reframe your career story from a place of strength rather than self-criticism.

  • 2. Define

    Create Your Personal Decision Criteria

    Establish clear guidelines for evaluating anney career decision. You'll identify your non-negotiables, define what success looks like on YOUR terms, and replace limiting beliefs with empowering ones. This phase gives you the decision-making framework you've been missing—your personal algorithm for confident choices.

    Generate Possibilities Without Judgment

    Break free from either/or thinking and expand what feels possible. Through creative exercises and mind mapping, you'll generate multiple potential paths forward and design 3-5 realistic scenarios for your future. This is where analysis paralysis transforms into strategic thinking.

  • 4. Prototype + test

    Test Your Options Safely

    Move from theoretical to practical by researching your top options through informational interviews and real-world exploration. You'll gather concrete data about each path and evaluate how well they align with your values framework—no more decisions based on assumptions or fear.

  • 5. Decide + execute

    Make Your Decision & Take Confident Action

    Using everything you've learned, make your clear decision with confidence. Create your action plan, build your support system, and get practical help with resumes, LinkedIn, and interviews as needed. You'll also develop tools for making future decisions with the same clarity and self-trust.

    This framework gives you a systematic approach to career decisions that honors both your analytical nature and your authentic values.
